This is a very cheap option in relation to the durability it brings with. Another method that is used is an epoxy coat which has lesser but good results. The movement in piles causes a lot of soil displacement. This will mostly be shown in the thickness. This is due of the sudden movements hence friction with serious effects. There is need to adequately cover the equipment that is needed to utilize the machine to its full potential.
